Siddiq Khan Kanju

---Mohammad Siddiq Khan Kanju born in Lodhran district, Punjab, Pakistan, died in Kahror Pakka in July 2001. He was a Pakistani politician who served as a Minister of Foreign Affairs. He had his early education from Sadiq Public School in Bahawalpur, after completing his A-levels he went to Government College, Lahore, and graduated in English Literature. He then went to Punjab University, Lahore and obtained an LLB degree. In 1985, he became Member of the National Assembly on non-party election, and served as a Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture. The government was dissolved in 1988 and he was appointed as a caretaker Education Minister.

 

Jahangir Khan Tareen

---Jahangir Khan Tareen (born on July 04, 1953) is a Pakistani business magnate who is the CEO of JDW Group, a conglomerate specialized in sugar manufacturing, biomass (bagasse), cogeneration (have two power units), paper manufacturing, sugarcane corporate farming on 30,000 acres of land and aviation services. Also, the Chairman and owner of J.K Group a conglomerate specialized in sugar manufacturing (have two sugar units), milk production & processing and sugarcane corporate farming. He is also the Chairman and owner of United Foods Pvt. Ltd. (Ali Tareen Farms, Lodhran), Indus Mining and also the owner of Multan Sultans the franchise of the Pakistan Super League. Khan has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan thrice between 2002 and 2017. Prior to entering politics, he was a lecturer and banker. He served as special adviser on agriculture and social sector initiatives to then Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi before being appointed as the Federal Minister for Industries and Production where he served from 2004 to 2007. In 2011, he joined PTI and became its General Secretary where he served until December 2017.
